Have you missed the boat for selling your Crested Butte home in 2022?

There are three things you need to think about when selling your home:

1. When exactly do you plan on listing?
2. What is the condition of your home?
3. What is the general price point?

It may be surprising to hear but the answer is dependent on a few factors. Let's focus on number 1 first.

When exactly do you plan on listing your home?

The key piece to understand is that your home’s value may depend on whether you’re planning on listing your home tomorrow, in 30 days, 60 days, or even 90 days from now. The month’s supply of inventory–which is how we determine whether it is a buyer’s, a seller’s, or an even market–is constantly shifting. Sometimes at a slower pace and sometimes at a more rapid pace.
Now, here in 2022, we are seeing a lot of inventory hit the market for the spring and summer season. As we all know, outside market conditions can also affect the number of viable buyers. So number one out of the three I mentioned earlier is. Did you miss the boat in selling your home for top dollar in 2022? Well, when exactly do you plan to list?
